Parents or Guardians

  • Always accompany any and all minors.

  • Instruct children to travel in familiar, well lit areas.

  • Put a name tag with your name and number on your children.

Dressing Your Goblins

  • All costumes, wigs and accessories should be fire-resistant.

  • Add reflective tape to your kids costume or Trick-or-Treat bags, or give them glow sticks for better visibility.

  • Use non-toxic make-up and always test it on a small portion of your kids skin first. Always take make-up off before bed.

  • Make sure the costumes and masks are fitted properly to avoid blocked vision, trips, and falls.

Home Owners

  • Remove any trip hazards in your yard and surrounding your porch.

  • Keep porch and walkway well lit.

  • Use glow sticks or other LED lights instead of candles in your jack-o-lanterns.

  • Keep pets restrained. Even the nicest pets can get scared and overwhelmed by the doorbell and kids.

Motorists

  • Pay extra close attention when driving through residential areas.

  • Slow down while in town.

  • Always remember the hands free law.

Have a Safe and Fun Halloween!
