Common Medicare Questions
01
When do I sign up?
Your Initial Enrollment Period usually starts 3 months before your 65th birthday month and ends 3 months after it. Waiting without other qualifying coverage can lead to penalties.
03
Original Medicare or Medicare Advantage?
Original Medicare lets you see most doctors nationwide who accept Medicare, and is often paired with a Medigap plan and a Part D plan. Medicare Advantage puts everything in one private plan, which may have network limits.
05
Does it cost anything to meet with you?
There's no cost or obligation for a review.
02
Should I enroll at 65 if I'm still working?
Maybe not. It depends on the size of your employer, whose plan covers you, and whether you contribute to an HSA.
04
When can I review my plan?
Medicare Open Enrollment runs October 15 – December 7 each year.
